Oppo just launched a new phone under its Reno series in Malaysia. Sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with an AMOLED display, the Oppo Reno 8 Z is also quite a sleek-looking device.
Only one variant of the Reno 8 Z is offered in Malaysia. The sole 8GB + 256GB model is priced at RM1,799, and it is available in two distinct colours: Dawnlight Gold – which is the model pictured here – and Starlight Black for those who want a more subdued look.
For that kind of money, the Reno 8 Z has a modest set of hardware. These include the aforementioned Snapdragon 695 chipset with 5G connectivity, a 6.43-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 2MP depth + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The Oppo Reno 8 Z will be available for purchase in Malaysia tomorrow on 26 August for RM1,799. Oppo Malaysia is also holding a Portrait Carnival event until 31 August at Sunway Velocity (ground floor) to celebrate the launch of the phone; customers can get freebies worth up to RM438 with every purchase of the Reno 8 Z at the event.
