Video: Owlab Link 65 Sound Test – Thocky, Marbly, Creamy
August 20, 2022 Andrew Cheng

Boy, do we have a good keyboard in for review! This is the Owlab Link 65 (thanks for sending it over Rebult Keyboards!), a 65% custom keyboard with quite an innovative build process and PCB design. It’s also been a while since we’ve seen a 65% keyboard from Owlab, which makes the Link 65 that much more compelling.

One of the most unique features of the Link 65 is its “Slip PCB,” which has a lot of flex cuts and can be rolled up. This custom keyboard also uses a screwless design (sort of), so you don’t even need a screwdriver to assemble it. Pretty cool, isn’t it?

Of course, this being an Owlab keyboard, it has the brand’s signature “thocky,” low-pitched sound profile. Just take a listen for yourself in the sound test below.

The Owlab Link 65 will cost between $380 to $400 (about RM1,700 to RM1,790), depending on the configuration. If you’re here in Malaysia, good news: Rebult Keyboards is the Malaysian proxy for the keyboard! We were told it will be available for purchase by the end of the month, so stay tuned for our full review of the Link 65 on our YouTube channel!
