2023 Proton Exora Official – New Circular Proton Logo, Leatherette Seats, Hi Proton, From RM63k
August 19, 2022 Andrew Cheng

The 2023 Proton Exora has just made its debut, and as expected, it sports some minor upgrades, though these changes do make for a more modern-looking MPV. Of course, that also means it sees a price hike: the MPV now starts from RM62,800, which is a RM3,000 increase.

That price tag is for the more affordable Executive Exora. The range-topping Premium variant, on the other hand, goes for RM69,800; also a RM3,000 price hike over the previous model. These prices are on-the-road without insurance.

One of the most noticeable changes to the new Exora is the use of Proton’s new circular logo on the front and rear of the MPV, along with the steering wheel. For the Premium trim, it also gets LED daytime running lights, side skirtings, a rear spoiler, blacked-out roof, and black tailgate garnish.

Also exclusive to the Premium Exora are leatherette seats and steering wheel – fabric and urethane respectively for the Executive model – armrests for the front seats (only the second row for Executive), a reverse camera, and a new 7-inch infotainment system with support for the “Hi Proton” voice command.

Beyond these changes, both variants of the Exora soldiers on with the same 1.6L turbocharged Campro CFE engine that outputs 140PS and 205Nm of torque paired to a CVT gearbox. Other standard equipment of the updated MPV include halogen headlights, two airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, and ESS.

While the 2023 Proton Exora doesn’t offer a lot of changes, it does have some meaningful upgrades, including the leatherette seats and a more sophisticated infotainment system. Granted, these changes command a RM3,000 price hike across the range, but hey, you’re getting more for your money too.

If you’re keen to get the new Exora, it is now available for booking online and at all authorised Proton showrooms nationwide.
