It looks like Malaysia will be one of the first markets to get Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship phones. The unannounced Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro have already been registered with SIRIM, suggesting that the Chinese company is gearing up to launch the two phones here.
Given that the 12T and 12T Pro (technically) don’t exist yet, there are no official details on the two phones. But based on rumours, they should be sporting some high-end features. After all, the Xiaomi T series had always offered flagship-tier hardware at a lower price point than its main flagship lineup.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro, in particular, is rumoured to feature a whopping 200MP camera. Leaks are also suggesting that the phone will be a rebranded Redmi K50 Ultra for the China market, so if that’s the case, it’s possible the 12T Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
Nonetheless, we’ll find out for ourselves once Xiaomi is ready to officially unveil the 12T and 12T Pro. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye on the local availability of the phone too.
