Lenovo Malaysia just launched a slew of new products on our shores, including the updated Lenovo Legion 5 Pro. Available with an Intel or AMD processor, the gaming laptop can even be configured with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, so it’s quite a capable machine.

On Lenovo Malaysia’s online store, the Legion 5 Pro retails from RM6,359 for the AMD configurations. If you want the Intel version instead – it’s dubbed Legion 5i Pro – it starts at RM7,119. Depending on which model you choose, the hardware are slightly different.

Let’s start with the more affordable AMD version, the Legion 5 Pro. The RM6,359 base model features a Ryzen 5 6600H processor paired with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD storage, an RTX 3060 GPU, and a 16-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate.

Given its higher starting price, the base model of the Intel version does feature higher-end hardware…somewhat. The most affordable RM7,119 Legion 5i Pro is packed with a Core i7-12700H processor with 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, a sharper 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, and curiously, an RTX 3050 Ti GPU.
