Aside from the Poco M4, the Chinese company is also launching an even more affordable phone in Malaysia. Retailing from merely RM499, the Poco C40 may appeal to folks who are on a tight budget; early birds can even get it with a RM50 discount.
Two variants of the C40 are offered in Malaysia. The 3GB + 32GB base model costs RM499, while the more practical 4GB + 64GB variant retails at RM599. For those who purchase the phone on 18 August through Shopee, they can get a RM50 discount on both models.
Given its affordable nature, the C40’s spec sheet is not particularly impressive. It features a JLQ JR510 processor, a 6.71-inch 720p display, a dual camera system (13MP primary + 2MP depth), a 5MP front camera, a very generous 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and MIUI 13 for Poco based on Android 11 out of the box.
The Poco C40 will be available for purchase in Malaysia on 18 August this Thursday. To recap, the more affordable 3GB + 32GB base model is priced at RM499, while the 4GB + 64GB variant goes for RM599. On 18 August only, you can get a RM50 discount on both models.
