Want to win a free laptop? Then consider joining the Acer 21 Days Challenge. Not only do you stand a chance to walk away with a brand new Acer Aspire Vero laptop, you can also win over RM50,000 worth of prizes by simply completing daily tasks.
This campaign is a part of Acer Day 2022, which showcases the Taiwanese company’s green initiatives. Beyond the campaign, Acer Malaysia is also running a number of other activities, including tree planting, a trade-in programme, up to 60% discounts on its e-store, and a lucky draw that offers prizes worth over RM250,000.
First, let’s talk about the Acer 21 Days Challenge. It’s currently ongoing until 30 September, and you’ll just need to head here and sign up to join the challenge; you are required to log in to complete the daily tasks over 21 days. Those who have completed all 21 tasks will get an organic wheat lunchbox with a tumbler.
That’s not all: participants who have completed the Day 6, Day 13, and/or Day 18 tasks will also get a RM5 TNG eWallet credit. It’s worth noting that these prizes are all guaranteed, and depending on how many participants signed up for the Acer 21 Days Challenge, more prizes will be unlocked.
Three “landmarks” can be unlocked to…well, unlock different prizes. The Forest landmark is unlocked at 100 participants, which offers a unit of the acerpure. The Sea landmark, on the other hand, is activated at 400 participants: five units of the Acer Vero mouse and mousepad will be given away at this landmark.
Last but not least is the Soil landmark. Unlocked at 900 total participants, achieving this landmark will unlock the prized Aspire Vero laptop. Participants who registered for the Acer 21 Days Challenge by 30 September will stand a chance to win these products through a giveaway; the winners will be announced on Acer Malaysia’s Facebook, Instagram, and the Acer Day website itself.
Another part of Acer Day 2022 is the company’s tree planting effort with APE Malaysia. A tree will be planted with every purchase of selected acer devices until 30 September; you can even get an e-certificate of the tree planted for you by registering here. That’s quite neat.
If you’re curious, the trees will be planted in Lower Kinabatangan, Sabah, to help the wildlife in the area, including the Bornean orangutans and Borneo pygmy elephants.
Next up, we have Acer Malaysia’s trade-in programme. If you’ve got any laptops, desktops, tablets, or even AIOs that you don’t need anymore – functional or not – you can trade them in to get up to RM500 cash rebate for an Acer Aspire Vero laptop. Electronic waste is a big environmental issue, so why not put your old electronics to good use?
Aside from its green initiatives, Acer Day also has other neat promotions, including up to 60% discounts (worth up to RM1,027) on selected Acer products through the Acer e-store. The eco-friendly Aspire Vero, for one, can be purchased for only RM2,699; you’re getting discounts and gifts worth up to RM897 for the laptop.
Last but not least is the lucky draw campaign for Acer Day. By purchasing selected Acer products, you stand a chance to get a share of the RM250,000 prize pool. These include travel vouchers to New Zealand, Turkey, or Phuket, two Gili Velo electric bikes, and five units of the Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition laptop.
