Hoyoverse just revealed the livestream date for Genshin Impact‘s next update, Version 3.0. Set to take place on 13 August this Saturday, the version update should see the introduction of Sumeru, a new region in the hugely popular live service game.

After all, Genshin Impact Version 2.0 saw the introduction of Inazuma, so it makes sense for Sumeru to be playable in the Version 3.0 update. On top of that, Hoyoverse already teased three new characters who hail from Sumeru: Tighnari, Collei, and Dori. They should make their debuts in the next version update.

With the introduction of Sumeru, we will be getting a slew of new characters in Genshin Impact; the three aforementioned characters are only some of them. You can catch a glimpse of even more Sumeru characters featured in the new video below, including the mysterious Nahida.

As with previous Genshin Impact version update livestreams, redemption codes offering Primogems will be given during the stream as well. You can catch the livestream of Genshin Impact Version 3.0 on Twitch this Saturday on 13 August at 8PM for us here in Malaysia.
