Huawei is set to launch an affordable phone in Malaysia later this week. Set to arrive on 15 July this Friday, the Huawei Nova Y90 sports a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging, all packed into a rather sleek-looking chassis with a high 94% screen-to-body ratio.

Only one variant of the Nova Y90 is available in Malaysia. Priced at RM999, it features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’s also offered in three distinct colours: Blue, Green, and Midnight Black.

Hardware wise, the Nova Y90 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, which should be fast enough for everyday use. Other specifications of the Y90 include a 6.7-inch 1080p LCD display, a triple camera system (50MP primary + 2MP macro + 2MP depth), an 8MP selfie camera, and the aforementioned 5,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging.

The Huawei Nova Y90 will be available for purchase in Malaysia this Friday on 15 July. Huawei Malaysia’s online store will have the phone up for sale then, and early birds will even get RM200 worth of freebies.
