Launched just last month, the 2022 Proton X70‘s prices have been revised to include sales tax. Naturally, prices are up across the range, with the highest-end 1.8L Premium model seeing the biggest price increase by RM7,000.
With this price revision, the new X70 now tops out at RM128,800 for the range-topping 1.8L Premium model, followed by the 1.5L version of the same trim at RM123,800 (RM5,900 increase). The 1.5L Executive models, on the other hand, are up by RM5,300 and RM5,500 for the 2WD and AWD options respectively.
Last but not least is the most affordable 1.5L Standard X70, which is now going for RM98,800 (up by RM4,900).

Now, if you placed a booking for the X70 by 30 June last week, the new prices you see above will not affect your order. Of course, this is assuming your car is registered by 31 March 2023 next year as announced by the Malaysian government. If you fulfill these criteria, you can still enjoy the tax-free prices.
