As promised, Sony Malaysia just opened pre-orders for its latest mid-range smartphone today, the Sony Xperia 10 IV. As a pre-order incentive, early birds will get a complimentary Sony WF-C500 wireless earbuds worth RM449 for free – that’s a pretty good offer.

Only one variant of the Xperia 10 IV is offered in Malaysia. Packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage, the mid-ranger is priced at RM2,099. Two colour options are available here: Mint and Black. Unfortunately, the Lavender and White models are not offered on our shores.

Just like its predecessor, the Xperia 10 IV has an IP65/IP68 water and dust resistance, which is quite a rare feature for a mid-range smartphone. It also features Sony’s signature 21:9 tall and narrow display for easier one-handed use.

Other specifications of the Xperia 10 IV include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6.0-inch 2520 x 1080 OLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (12MP primary + 8MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide angle), an 8MP selfie camera, and a sizeable 5,000mAh battery.

The Sony Xperia 10 IV will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from 1 to 31 July 2022 for RM2,099. As mentioned, those who place their pre-orders within this time period will also receive a Sony WF-C500 wireless earbuds worth RM449 for free.
