Perodua just opened bookings for its brand new 2022 Perodua Alza! Seems like the carmaker is retaining the Alza name for the MPV, and it’s estimated to retail from only RM62,000.
Of course, that’s the price for the base X variant of the new Alza. The mid-tier H model, on the other hand, has a tentative pricing of RM68,000. As for the range-topping AV trim with all the bells and whistles, it’s estimated to go for RM75,000.

Aside from pricing, Perodua also revealed several key specifications of the 2022 Alza. These include a 1.5L engine paired with a D-CVT gearbox – likely the same powertrain found in the latest Myvi – an impressive quoted fuel efficiency of 22km per litre, and even a 360-degree camera.
Of course, the latter is exclusive to the highest-end AV Alza. The range-topping model also gets six airbags, while the other two variants get four airbags. Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) are offered with the new MPV too, but only the AV model gets the full kit, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep control, blind spot monitor, and an electronic parking brake with auto brake hold.

The 2022 Perodua Alza is now available for booking in Malaysia. Given that the sales tax exemption will only be given to cars that have been booked by 30 June, you may want to place your order soon. You can book the new Alza at a Perodua dealership or online right here.
