Originally set to be launched in the Asia-Pacific region (including Malaysia) this week on 23 June, Diablo Immortal will now only be available here on 7 July. According to Blizzard, the delay is necessary for optimisations to be done, which include bug fixes and performance improvements.
Of course, this Diablo Immortal delay doesn’t just affect Malaysia; other markets that will only get the mobile-first game on 7 July include Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, The Philippines, Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong. Interestingly, Vietnam will also get the game at the same time, but only on PC; there’s no mobile version for the country.

Blizzard is also enabling cross-play and cross-progression between the PC and mobile versions of Diablo Immortal. It’s worth noting that the PC version will launch in open beta, which will see changes and fine-tuning to the game until it “delivers a finalised experience for all courageous adventurers,” as Blizzards puts it.
If you’re keen to check out Diablo Immortal when it releases on 7 July in Asia-Pacific, you can pre-register for the game right here. It will be available on iOS, Android, as well as PC through Battle.net, and with over 30 million pre-registrations already, it looks to be a highly anticipated game.
