ShopeeFood is set to be available in Penang sometime in June 2022 next month. Penang is the third state to get the food delivery service, right after the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru.

One of the advantages of ShopeeFood is the ability to “stack” vouchers for more savings. For example, you can stack a free shipping voucher with a different food discount voucher. Shopee also gives out up to 50% discounts on a daily basis from partner merchants.

“We are delighted with the positive response that we have received in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru and would like to bring the same convenience to Shopee users in Penang,” said the head of business development at ShopeeFood, Wong Chee Mun.

“Known as a food haven among food enthusiasts, we hope that through this new service, we can encourage more Penang merchants to digitise their business and reach out to more customers, driving long term growth in the digital age,” he added.

To check if ShopeeFood is available in your area, you can look for the ShopeeFood icon on the home page of the Shopee app once it’s launched in Penang sometime in June next month.
