Genshin Impact Teases Shikanoin Heizou – Anemo Character Playable in Version 2.8?

Despite the delay to Genshin Impact 2.7, Hoyoverse just posted a teaser for an upcoming character: Shikanoin Heizou. Chances are, the Anemo character will be playable in Version 2.8 of the game; the next update after Yelan and Kuki Shinobu are expected to debut.

Heizou, as revealed in the teaser, is an Anemo character, though it remains to be seen if he is a 5-star or 4-star character. His weapon was not detailed either, though he does look to be sporting a sword in the teaser image.

Hoyoverse also mentioned that Heizou is from Inazuma, and he’s a detective for the Tenryou Commission. He is described by Kamisato Ayato to be “unfettered and unrestrained in demeanor,” but with “admirable wit and insight.”

Given that Version 2.7 of Genshin Impact has not received any release date yet after the delay, we may not see Heizou anytime soon. After all, it’s likely he will only debut in the following update (Version 2.8). Hopefully, Hoyoverse will give more details on the release of Genshin Impact 2.7 soon.
