The Honor Magic 4 Pro made its global debut in March earlier this year, and it was confirmed not long after that it will makes its way into the Malaysian market. Well, we finally have a launch window for the flagship phone’s local unveiling.
According to the CEO of Honor Malaysia, Justin Li, the Magic 4 Pro will be available in Malaysia sometime in early June next month. Unfortunately, there’s no word on the local availability of the regular Magic 4, so it remains to be seen if the more affordable variant will also be sold here.
One of the highlights of the Magic 4 Pro is its triple camera system. It’s made up of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens that can do 3.5x optical zoom. These sensors are housed in a unique circular camera module.
Other specifications of the Magic 4 Pro include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM, a 6.81-inch 2848 x 1312 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 256GB of internal storage, a 12MP selfie camera, an IP68 rating, and a 4,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired and wireless charging; that’s quite impressive.
To recap, the Honor Magic 4 Pro is set to be launched here in Malaysia in early June next month; we’ll find out then just how much it will be priced at on our shores. For context, it is sold in Europe with a 1,099 euro starting price – that’s about RM5,075.
