Launched in Malaysia just a couple of months ago in March, the Asus ROG Flow Z13 is seeing a price adjustment locally. While the starting price of the gaming tablet remains the same at RM7,999, the higher-end variants of the Z13 are now slightly more expensive.
This price change is reflected on the local product page of the Flow Z13. The base model, as mentioned, retains its RM7,999 price tag. It features an Intel Core i7-12700H processor paired with 16GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, a 13.4-inch 1920 x 1200 IPS touch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 512GB SSD.
A tier up is the Core i9-12900H configuration of the Flow Z13, which is now set at RM8,999; that’s a RM200 price increase. Aside from the faster processor, you’re also getting a beefier RTX 3050 Ti GPU and a generous 1TB SSD. Despite the price revision, it’s really worth paying the extra RM1,000 for these upgrades over the base model.
Last but not least is the range-topping Flow Z13, which sees a RM1,000 price increase to RM16,999. Aside from a sharper 4K screen (though the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz), this variant also bundles the ROG XG Mobile external GPU enclosure, which houses a powerful RTX 3080 GPU (150W TGP).
According to Asus Malaysia, the price revision for the Asus ROG Flow Z13 is due to the increasing difference between MYR and USD. Initial stocks of the gaming tablet have also sold out, so expect the Z13 to carry these new price tags once it is restocked.
