After numerous leaks, the DJI Mini 3 Pro is finally official. As the successor to the Mini 2, this new drone sports a number of features that puts it more in line with DJI’s higher-end drones, including a more sophisticated flying capability and the ability to shoot videos in vertical mode.
That’s right, the Mini 3 Pro’s 48MP f/1.7 camera can be rotated 90-degree to take vertical videos; perfect for social media such as TikTok and Instagram Stories. Aside from that, it can also shoot in 4K at up to 60fps, not to mention a slew of shooting modes including ActiveTrack, QuickShots, and MasterShots.
Another neat hardware of the Mini 3 Pro is its tri-directional obstacle sensing; this drone has forward, backward, and downward visual sensors. Despite packing all of these new features, DJI still managed to keep the weight of this drone to only 249g, so you won’t have to register it in most regions.
The DJI Mini 3 Pro is now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 16 May on Shopee and Lazada from RM3,399 for the drone itself. If you also want to get the remote controller, it will set you back RM4,199. You can visit the DJI flagship store in Pavilion KL as well to learn more about this brand new drone.
We also received a review unit of the Mini 3 Pro; stay tuned for our full video review of it!
