Proton just announced the launch date of the new 2022 Proton Saga MC2 (Minor Change 2) facelift! Set to debut on 12 May this Thursday, the national carmaker also revealed some cosmetic changes to the updated A-segment sedan.
Two teaser images of the Saga MC2 were shared by Proton. One of it shows the new circular logo on the front end of the sedan – along with a red accent strip on the grille – and updated alloy wheels for a sleeker, sportier look.
Based on previous leaks, we know that the Saga MC2 is offered in four variants: Standard MT, Standard AT, Premium AT, and the range-topping Premium S AT. Naturally, the latter gets all the bells and whistles, including keyless entry, push start button, semi-leather seats, and side skirts with a front bumper lip.
No changes to the engine of the facelifted Saga is expected, so it will likely soldier on with the same 1.3L four-cylinder engine that outputs 95hp and 120Nm of torque. It should still be mated to a four-speed automatic transmission that’s sourced from Hyundai as well.
To recap, the 2022 Proton Saga MC2 facelift will make its debut on 12 May this Thursday; the virtual launch will take place on Proton’s Facebook page at 9.45AM. If you’re keen to get the new Saga, you can register your interest right here.
At the moment, we still don’t know exactly when the Keychron Q1 QMK Keyboard will be officially introduced. Nonetheless, you can register your interest for the upcoming keyboard over here.
