In its financial year 2021 (April 2021 – March 2022) sales report, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) revealed that it has sold over 9,065 units of the Mitsubishi Xpander MPV. According to the company, this is enough for the Xpander to claim the top spot in the non-national MPV segment in Malaysia.
On top of that, the Xpander also accounts for almost half of the company’s total sales at 47.2%. Given the value for money that this locally assembled MPV offers – even with the recent price hike – it’s no surprise the seven-seater is such a popular option.

Now priced at RM93,318 with SST exemption, the Xpander is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine that outputs 105PS and 141Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Aside from that, the seven-seater is also shod with 16-inch alloy wheels.
Other equipment of the Xpander include LED headlights, two airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, hill start assist, a 9-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, leather seats, a 360-degree camera, a dashcam, as well as keyless entry with push start button.

Keen to get the Mitsubishi Xpander before the sales tax exemption ends on 30 June? You can do so at your nearest Mitsubishi Motors authorised showroom nationwide. Four colour options are available: Red Metallic, Titanium Grey, Quartz White, and Diamond Black.
