Vivo recently launched its latest gaming series in Malaysia, the Vivo T1 and Vivo T1X. Despite being marketed as a gaming lineup, these two devices aren’t exactly “true” gaming phones, though they’re certainly affordable with a RM699 starting price.
Of course, the RM699 starting price is for the more affordable T1X in 4GB + 64GB configuration. The more practical 8GB + 128GB model, on the other hand, costs RM899. As for the higher-end T1, the sole 8GB + 128GB variant retails at RM1,299.

Given that the T1 is the higher-end device of the two, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. It also has a 6.44-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,700mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
And then there’s the budget-friendly T1X with a more modest Snapdragon 680 chip, a 6.58-inch 1080p LCD screen, a triple camera system (50MP primary + 2MP bokeh + 2MP macro), an 8MP selfie shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The Vivo T1 and Vivo T1X are now available for purchase in Malaysia. If you get either phones by 24 May, you’ll be eligible for a discount. The T1X, for one, will retail at RM649 (RM50 discount) and RM799 (RM100 discount) for the 4GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB models respectively.
As for the T1, you can get it for only RM1,249 by 24 May; that’s RM50 worth of savings.
