It seems like the Honda City V Sensing is quite a popular choice among Malaysians. At least, that’s the case for the first quarter of 2022, where 34% of City sales consist of the V Sensing model.
Essentially the highest-end petrol variant of the City, the V Sensing trim was introduced in November last year. Priced at RM90,212.36 with sales tax exemption applied until 30 June 2022, it costs exactly RM3,650.91 more than the standard 1.5L V model.

Based on the popularity of the City V Sensing, it’s evident that Malaysians are willing to pay more for the added safety features. Honda Sensing offers Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigating Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and Auto High Beam (AHB).
“For the first quarter of 2022, the City V Sensing contributed 34% to the total City sales, which shows a positive trend for this variant and also the recognition of Honda Sensing, our advanced safety technology,” said the MD and CEO of Honda Malaysia, Hironobu Yoshimura.

The Honda City V Sensing is now available for booking in Malaysia. If you’re interested to get it, you can place your booking online here. Alternatively, bookings can be done through the HondaTouch app too – you can download it from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
