Malaysian pre-orders of the Zoom65 Essential Edition is handled by none other than Rebult Keyboards. Pre-orders of the keyboard will open on 8 April tomorrow at 8PM with a RM675 starting price. The value proposition isn’t quite as good as the regular Zoom65 – given that you’re not getting keycaps and switches – but it’s still decent.

Just like the standard model, the Zoom65 Essential Edition uses a gasket mounting system with a full aluminium body, rotary encoder, polycarbonate plate, and of course, a hotswap PCB. Interestingly, this PCB also supports Bluetooth 5.0 with VIA compatibility.

Yes, the Zoom65 Essential Edition is a wireless custom keyboard, and a 2,300mAh battery is bundled with it too. Also packaged together with this keyboard are Wuque Studio’s stabilisers, a carrying case, and a coiled USB-C cable.
