Launched back in November 2020, it appears Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has increased the price of the Mitsubishi Xpander. Previously priced at RM91,369, the seven-seater crossover now costs RM93,318 – a price difference of RM1,949.
According to Paultan.org’s report, which got in touch with MMM, this price hike on the Xpander is due to “cost up pressure.” While it’s not great that the seven-seater sees a price revision – even before the SST exemption is set to end on 30 June 2022 – its value proposition is still very good.

For that kind of money, the Xpander is powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine that outputs 105PS and 141Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Aside from that, the seven-seater is also shod with 16-inch alloy wheels.
Other equipment of the Xpander include LED headlights, two airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, hill start assist, a 9-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, leather seats, a 360-degree camera, a dashcam, as well as keyless entry with push start button.
