There’s a new device in the Redmi Note series, and it is now the range-topping model: enter the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G – yes, it’s a mouthful. Compared to the “standard” Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, this new phone features an even faster 120W charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip.
For the Malaysian market, two variants of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G are offered. The 128GB base model costs RM1,499, while the more generous 256GB variant goes for RM1,599. Both models are packed with 8GB of RAM.

Beyond its faster 120W charging and Dimensity 920 chipset, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G actually has similar hardware as the non-plus model. These include a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (108MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), and a 16MP selfie camera.
However, the faster charging of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G does come with a slight sacrifice. The battery capacity has been reduced to 4,500mAh, so it may not be quite as long-lasting as the non-plus model. After all, that device has a larger 5,000mAh cell instead.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 6 April onwards on Shopee and Lazada for RM1,499 and RM1,599 for the 128GB and 256GB variants respectively. Early birds can also get a RM100 discount on these two models in a flash sale, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
