Well, Realme is delivering on its promise to make the Realme GT 2 Pro the most affordable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone in Malaysia. Retailing at only RM2,599, it undercuts both the Xiaomi 12 and Motorola Edge 30.

However, there is a caveat: the GT 2 Pro will only be priced at RM2,599 (discounted from RM2,999) between 25 – 26 March and 30 – 31 March on its official Shopee store. Those who purchase the flagship phone within the promotional period will also receive a Realme Buds 2 Neo earphones for free.

For that kind of money, the GT 2 Pro is powered by the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The sole variant also features 12GB of RAM and 1256GB of internal storage. These are quite generous capacities, especially at this price point.

Other specifications of the GT 2 Pro include a 6.7-inch 1440p LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP primary + 50MP ultra-wide angle + 3MP micro-lens), a 32MP selfie camera, as well as a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
