Huawei just unveiled a new phone for the Malaysian market, the Huawei Nova 9 SE. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with a quad camera system, early pre-orders of the phone will be bundled with a Huawei FreeLace neckbuds worth RM379.
Only one variant of the Nova 9 SE is offered in Malaysia. Sporting 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, this mid-range phone is priced at RM1,099. It will be available for pre-order until 18 March, and the first 1,000 buyers will get the aforementioned FreeLace neckbuds for free.
Design is one of the main highlights of the Nova 9 SE. Thanks to the sleek-looking glass back with minimal bezels surrounding the 6.78-inch 1080p IPS screen – it also has a 90Hz refresh rate – this is quite a handsome device.
Other specifications of the Nova 9 SE include a Snapdragon 680 chipset, a quad camera system (108MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP depth + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,000mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
Do note that this phone – as with all recent Huawei phones – do not come with Google Mobile Services, so certain apps and services from Google will not be available out of the box.
The Huawei Nova 9 SE is now available for pre-order in Malaysia until 18 March for RM1,099. To recap, the first 1,000 buyers will also get a Huawei Freelace neckbuds (worth RM379) for free.
