Back in December last year, Honda Malaysia revealed that over 22,000 units of the fifth generation Honda City were sold locally. Fast forward to today, the Japanese carmaker announced that the number has grown to an impressive 32,500 units.

This means the carmaker managed to sell over 10,500 units of the City between December 2021 to February last month. In fact, the B-segment sedan was actually Honda Malaysia’s best-seller in January and February 2022, contributing to 38% of the company’s total sales in that period.

Chances are, the introduction of the City V Sensing in November 2021 bolstered the sales of the sedan. After all, it adds on the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance safety systems for only RM3,650.91 more than the standard V model.
