Introduced just last week, the brand new iPhone SE is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Although it looks identical to the 2020 model, the updated iPhone SE is powered by the blazing fast Apple A15 Bionic chip. That’s right, this affordable iPhone features the same chip as the current iPhone 13 lineup.
Retailing from RM2,099, the new iPhone SE only costs RM100 more than its predecessor. Given that you’re getting the powerful A15 Bionic chip with this new model, only needing to pay RM100 more is quite a good deal. On top of that, you’re also getting 5G support, even if 5G connectivity in Malaysia isn’t widely available yet.
Of course, RM2,099 is for the base model of the iPhone SE with 64GB of internal storage. If you want more storage space, you can go for the 128GB or 256GB variant, which will set you back RM2,299 and RM2,799 respectively.
Rounding out the specifications of the updated iPhone SE are a 4.7-inch 1334 x 750 IPS screen, an IP67 rating, better battery life (thanks to the more power-efficient A15 chip), as well as the same chassis as its predecessor, but with tougher glasses on the front and back of the phone.
You can pre-order the 2022 iPhone SE in Malaysia from Apple itself right here; shipping will begin from 24 March onwards. Want a higher-end iPhone instead? Well, the iPhone 13 in Green and iPhone 13 Pro in Alpine Green are also available for pre-order now.
