Realme recently unveiled two new phones for the Malaysian market, the Realme 9 Pro and the higher-end Realme 9 Pro+. While both phones feature a similar-looking design, they’re quite different under the hood.
Let’s start with the higher-end phone of the two, the Realme 9 Pro+. Retailing at RM1,599 in Malaysia for the sole 256GB + 8GB model, it features a triple camera system made up of a 50MP primary shooter with a Sony IMX766 sensor – it promises good low light performance – an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
Other specifications of the Realme 9 Pro+ include a 6.4-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor with 5G connectivity, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging.
As for the more affordable Realme 9 Pro, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset instead, along with a 6.6-inch 1080p IPS screen clocked at 120Hz, a triple camera setup (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
How much does these hardware cost? Well, only RM1,099 for the 128GB + 6GB model. If you want more RAM, you can get the 128GB + 8GB configuration for RM1,199.
The Realme 9 Pro+ will go on sale in Malaysia on 8 March through Lazada; you can grab it for only RM1,399 on that day, saving you RM200. The Realme 9 Pro will also be available on Lazada then at a discounted price (RM1,099, a discount of RM100).
If you can wait a little longer, you can get the more affordable 128GB + 6GB variant of the Realme 9 Pro for only RM949 on 15 March through Lazada. That’s exactly RM150 off.
