Honor just unveiled its latest lineup of flagship smartphones, the Honor Magic 4 series. Featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and a premium design, the Magic 4 Pro and standard Magic 4 are high-end phones through and through.

Let’s start with the higher-end Magic 4 Pro. It features a triple camera system made up of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens that can do 3.5x optical zoom. These sensors are housed in a unique circular camera module.

Other specifications of the Magic 4 Pro include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM, a 6.81-inch 2848 x 1312 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 256GB of internal storage, a 12MP selfie camera, an IP68 rating, and a 4,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired and wireless charging; that’s quite impressive.

As for the standard Magic 4, it has similar hardware as the Pro model, though it does have some distinct differences here and there. Instead of a 64MP telephoto camera, it features an 8MP periscope telephoto lens instead; it also has a slightly bigger 4,800 battery and an IP54 rating.

The Honor Magic 4 series will be available globally sometime in Q2 2022. The standard Magic 4 is set to retail from 899 euro (about RM4,215), while the Magic 4 Pro starts at 1,099 euro (approximately RM5,155). The latter is already confirmed for the Malaysian market, though it remains to be seen if the standard model will also be coming to our shores.
