The Poco X4 Pro 5G has just been announced at MWC 2022, and it’s…very similar to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, except for some styling differences. Anyway, just like the latter, the X4 Pro is a budget-friendly phone, and it will be available for purchase in Malaysia this week on 3 March.
Two variants of the X4 Pro are offered in Malaysia. The base model with 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM goes for RM1,199 – the exact same starting price of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G – while the more generous 256GB configuration with 8GB RAM is priced at RM1,499.

As mentioned, the Poco X4 Pro 5G is very similar to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. Both phones feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (108MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
The only real difference between the two phones lies in design; more specifically, the camera module. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G’s camera array has a smaller footprint, while the camera module of the Poco X4 Pro 5G stretches across the whole top of the phone, complete with the Poco branding.
It’s also worth noting that the X4 Pro is offered with more storage capacity; there’s no 256GB configuration of the Note 11 Pro 5G for the Malaysian market.

You can purchase the Poco X4 Pro 5G in Malaysia from 3 March onwards exclusively on Shopee, and you can get it at only RM1,099 (128GB) and RM1,249 (256GB) on that day – that saves you RM100 and RM250 respectively.
