Honda Malaysia just launched the updated 2022 Honda Odyssey facelift on our shores. Sporting a new exterior and interior, the premium seven-seater MPV is fully imported (CBU) from Japan, so it gets 50% sales tax exemption until 30 June 2022.
So how much does the facelifted Odyssey cost? A cool RM275,311 on-the-road without insurance. Given that the sales tax exemption is set to end on 30 June, expect the price of the premium MPV to increase in the second half of the year.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the updated Odyssey has a number of exterior changes. These include a new front grille, LED headlights, redesigned taillights, as well as new rear and front bumpers. It also gets 17-inch alloy wheels now with sequential turn signals.
Step inside the 2022 Odyssey and you’ll be greeted by a more premium interior. There’s a new dashboard design, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch infotainment screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with combination leather upholstery.
Other equipment of the new Odyssey include the familiar 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC NA engine (175PS/225Nm), a CVT automatic, Honda Sensing, and a powered tailgate with foot sensor for added convenience.
The 2022 Honda Odyssey facelift is now available for booking in Malaysia. It is offered in three colours: Platinum White Pearl, Premium Twinkle Black Pearl, and Super Platinum Metallic.
