Oppo Pad Official With Snapdragon 870 & 11″ 120Hz Display From 2,299 Yuan
February 25, 2022 Andrew Cheng

Oppo recently unveiled its first-ever Android tablet in China, the aptly named Oppo Pad. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset with an 11-inch 120Hz screen – not to mention good value for money – it’s quite an interesting tablet.

Though the Snapdragon 870 chipset isn’t cutting-edge, the Oppo Pad more than makes up for this with its affordable price tag. In China, it retails at only 2,299 Chinese yuan (about RM1,530) for the base model with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM. If you want more storage and RAM, there’s the 256GB + 8GB variant for 2,999 yuan (approximately RM1,995).

For that kind of money, the Oppo Pad features the aforementioned Snapdragon 870, which should be able to offer a reasonably good level of performance. It also has an 11-inch 2560 x 1600 LTPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and a reasonably big 8,300mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

It remains to be seen when (or if) the Oppo Pad will be available outside of China. But if it does, we reckon Malaysia will get the Android tablet, given Oppo’s prominent presence here.
