2022 Asus TUF Gaming Laptops With 12th Gen Intel & AMD Ryzen 6000 Chips Launched in Malaysia – Starts at RM4,999

If the Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 don’t quite fit your budget, then consider the new Asus TUF Gaming laptops. Available with Intel’s latest 12th gen chip or AMD’s equally new Ryzen 6000 processor, this gaming laptop series offers good value for money.

Asus TUF Gaming A15

Let’s start with the more affordable laptop in the series, the TUF Gaming A15. Offered in four different configurations, all variants are powered by a Ryzen 7 6800H octa-core processor. The base model with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 costs RM4,999, while the RTX 3050 Ti configuration goes for RM5,199; both feature 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.

A tier up is the RTX 3060 model of the TUF Gaming A15. Packed with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, it retails at RM6,199. And then there’s the range-topping model with the same GPU, but with a brighter, more vibrant display, and a larger 1TB SSD for RM6,699.

Asus TUF Gaming F15

Next, we have the TUF Gaming F15, which is essentially the Intel version of the A15. Available in three variants, all of them are equipped with a Core i7-12700H processor and 512GB of SSD storage. The most affordable RTX 3050 model retails at RM5,299, while the RTX 3050 Ti configuration is priced at RM5,499. These two models also have 8GB of RAM.

As for the range-topping RTX 3060 TUF Gaming F15, it goes for RM6,499 with a more generous 16GB RAM. Beyond the different CPU and GPU options, both the TUF Gaming F15 and A15 feature a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Asus TUF Gaming A17/F17

Oh, there are also 17-inch variants of the two laptops. The TUF Gaming A17 packs a Ryzen 7 6800H processor paired with 8GB of RAM, an RTX 3050 GPU, a 17.3-inch 1080p IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 512GB SSD for RM5,199.

In the Intel camp, the TUF Gaming F15 features a Core i7-12700H processor paired with 16GB of RAM, an RTX 3060 GPU, a 17.3-inch 1080p IPS screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 512GB SSD. How much does all of these cost? RM6,699.

Availability

All AMD variants of the Asus TUF Gaming series – so that’s the A15 and A17 – will be available in Malaysia sometime in March 2022. The TUF Gaming F15 will also be arriving here in March next month, but the F17 will only be sold here sometime in April 2022.
