Walk-in COVID-19 Booster Starts 19 January – For Those Over 60 in Klang Valley

If you’re over the age of 60 and you haven’t gotten your COVID-19 booster yet, good news: you can walk-in to get your vaccination from 19 January onwards at four selected PPVs in Klang Valley.

These PPVs include World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur; Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil; Ideal Convention Centre, Shah Alam; and Soka Gakkai, Klang. However, do note that you can only walk-in from 2PM to 8PM daily (except on public holiday), with the exception of Soka Gakkai (between 12PM to 4PM).

Those over the age of 60 in Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Penang, and Sarawak can also walk-in at selected offsite PPVs to get their boosters, but only from 24 January onwards. ProtectHealth Corporation will announce the PPVs that offer walk-in vaccination at a later date.

The Ministry of Health also announced that from 19 January onwards, PPVs in Klang Valley will also offer Pfizer as a booster for AstraZeneca and Sinovac recipients. This is to accommodate folks that cannot receive the AstraZeneca vaccine as a booster, which is currently the only booster offered.
