OnePlus just unveiled its first 2022 flagship smartphone in China, the OnePlus 10 Pro. Naturally, the high-end phone features Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, as well as a camera system with Hasselblad’s branding.

This is the second OnePlus phone to carry the Hasselblad branding, which brings a feature dubbed Natural Color Optimisation 2.0. With over “500+ scene colour optimisation,” the camera promises natural colour reproduction. As for the triple camera itself, it’s made up of a 48MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens.

Aside from that, the OnePlus 10 Pro also has a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO 2.0 curved AMOLED display that can dynamically switch between 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate in a more efficient manner. OnePlus said that this extends battery life by up to 1.7 hours, which is said to be a 40% improvement.

Rounding out the specifications of the OnePlus 10 Pro are a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, a 32MP selfie camera, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, two UFS 3.1 storage options (128GB or 256GB), and a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging; 50W wirelessly.

At the moment, the OnePlus 10 Pro is only available in China with a 4,699 Chinese yuan starting price – that comes up to about RM3,095. No word yet on its availability outside of the region (including Malaysia), though we reckon it’s only a matter of time before the flagship phone lands here.
