Twitter just shared some interesting insights for 2021. Throughout the year, over 2.4 billion Tweets were posted about gaming on the platform; a 14% increase compared to 2020. The most Tweeted game? Well, it’s none other than Genshin Impact.
Evidently, Mihoyo garnered quite a large Genshin Impact fan base on Twitter. The developer also consistently post about the latest character event wishes and teasers on Genshin Impact’s Twitter account, which seem to drive even more conversations surrounding the game.
Aside from Genshin Impact, Apex Legends is the second most talked about game on Twitter, followed by Ensemble Stars, Final Fantasy, Fate/Grand Order, and even Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Even though the Nintendo Switch exclusive was launched back in 2020, the Version 2.0 update does freshen up the game quite a bit.
