It’s said to be in the pipeline a few times in the past, and it’s now a reality: the 2022 Perodua Alza now finally supports Apple CarPlay. This makes it the first-ever Perodua model to support the feature, on top of Android Auto.
This was reported by the folks over at Paultan.org, which received confirmation from Perodua itself. For those who have already received the Alza, Apple CarPlay will be enabled during servicing or inspection at a Perodua service centre, though you may want to remind them to be safe.

It’s worth noting that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are only available in the range-topping Alza AV; other variants of the MPV do not get the convenient feature, unfortunately enough. Other features exclusive to the AV model include a 360-degree camera, an integrated dashcam, electronic parking brake with auto brake hold, as well as the full capability of Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist (ASA).
To recap, there are three variants of the 2022 Perodua Alza. there’s the base X model (RM62,500), mid-range H trim (RM68,000), and the highest-end AV variant (RM75,500); these prices are on-the-road without insurance.
