2022 Perodua Alza Debut Set for 20 July – From RM62k to RM75k

Perodua finally revealed the launch date of the 2022 Perodua Alza. Set to debut here later this week on 20 July, the MPV is offered in three different variants, and it is estimated to retail from only RM62,000.

Of course, that’s the price for the base X variant of the new Alza. The mid-tier H model, on the other hand, has a tentative pricing of RM68,000. As for the range-topping AV trim with all the bells and whistles, it’s estimated to go for RM75,000.

Aside from pricing, Perodua also revealed several key specifications of the 2022 Alza. These include a 1.5L engine paired with a D-CVT gearbox – likely the same powertrain found in the latest Myvi – an impressive quoted fuel efficiency of 22km per litre, and even a 360-degree camera.

Of course, the latter is exclusive to the highest-end AV Alza. The range-topping model also gets six airbags, while the other two variants get four airbags. Perodua’s Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) are offered with the new MPV too, but only the AV model gets the full kit, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep control, blind spot monitor, and an electronic parking brake with auto brake hold.
