At the local launch of the 2022 Honda Civic, Honda Malaysia revealed that it has received over 1,200 bookings for the new C-segment sedan. The Japanese carmaker also said that it is planning to sell 900 units of the 11th gen Civic every month.
Of course, given that full details of the new Civic were only revealed today, there’s no specific breakdown of which variant received the most bookings. However, Honda Malaysia did say it is expecting 50% of total sales for the 2022 Civic to be the V variant, followed by the RS trim (30%) and E model (20%).
To recap, the most affordable E trim of the new Civic costs RM125,634.64, while the mid-tier V model goes for RM138,043.36. The range-topping RS variant, on the other hand, is priced at RM144,350.09. These prices are with sales tax exemption applied until 30 June 2022.
