The much-rumoured Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could be launched in Malaysia very soon – as early as next week, in fact. After all, the upcoming phone has already been registered with SIRIM, suggesting that it will be made available here in the near future.
Curiously, the Galaxy S21 FE was registered with SIRIM under Samsung Malaysia on 22 December last week. Just today, we also received an invite to the local launch of “our new Galaxy” from the Korean company. Chances are, this is a launch event for the S21 FE.
The main Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup
Based on numerous leaks, the Galaxy S21 FE looks to be a reasonably well-equipped flagship phone that should be more affordable than the main S21 series. It’s said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset – though other markets, such as ours, may get the Exynos 2100 instead – a 120Hz display, and a similar design language as the S21 phones.
Nonetheless, we’ll find out for ourselves whether or not the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be launched in Malaysia next week on 5 January 2022.
