The 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift is off to a great start. We previously reported that the new B-segment hatchback received over 3,000 bookings in only one week, and Perodua just revealed that the figure currently stands at an impressive 4,303 bookings – all in only nine days.

Evidently, Malaysians don’t mind the fact that the refreshed Myvi is now more costly; it is priced from RM45,700 to RM58,800. Perodua also expects to register 6,000 units of the refreshed Myvi every month, but judging by the amount of bookings the hatchback have already received, this does seem like a conservative estimate.

“The Myvi has struck all the right cords with Malaysians and has been widely accepted by the people. This new offering is to ensure that our valued customers are getting the best value as possible,” said the CEO and President of Perodua, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad. “We are thankful to our customers and to all Malaysians for the support shown to both Perodua and the new Myvi,” he added.
