Here it is: after numerous teasers and spy shots, the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift is finally launching this Thursday on 18 November. Sporting new looks and level 2 autonomous driving, the new B-segment hatchback is shaping up to be quite an exciting upgrade.
This was confirmed by Perodua itself on its social media pages. The online launch will be taking place on four platforms this Thursday at 9PM, including YouTube and Facebook.
As mentioned, the facelifted Myvi is expected to feature level 2 autonomous driving, thanks to a teaser posted by Perodua right here. The steering wheel of the new hatchback has buttons for Lane Keep Control (LKC) and adaptive cruise control, which make up the Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA) system.
The fact that PSDA is available on the new Myvi is quite a big deal, given that there are no other models in the market now with such a feature at this price point. To recap, the facelifted Myvi is set to retail from RM45,700 to RM58,800; slightly more costly than the current model’s range – RM41,292 to RM52,697 – but it does come with a number of upgrades.
