2022 Perodua Myvi Facelift Now Open for Booking – From RM45,700 to RM58,800
November 9, 2021 Andrew Cheng

Just one week after spy shots of the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift started going around, the national carmaker has opened bookings for the new (and very popular) B-segment hatchback. On top of that, we even have the price range of the facelifted Myvi.

Set to retail from RM45,700 to RM58,800 – which should be without sales tax exemption, given that it’s been extended to 30 June 2022 – the updated Myvi is slightly more costly now. For the sake of comparison, the current Myvi retails from RM41,292 to RM52,697.

Interestingly, the facelifted Myvi will only feature an automatic transmission; the manual option will be discontinued with the facelift, for better or worse. Perodua did not mention if the four-speed automatic will be retained for the new Myvi, though it is rumoured to feature a CVT gearbox now – similar to the one found in the Ativa.

As many as five different variants of the facelifted Myvi will be offered, including the range-topping AV, H, X – these three models will feature a 1.5L engine – and two G trims with a 1.3L mill. The fuel efficiency of the Myvi has also been improved to 22.2km per litre (tested on the 1.3L variant) from 21.1km per litre; that’s quite impressive.

The 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift is now available for booking in Malaysia at Perodua showrooms nationwide. Alternatively, you can also place a booking for the B-segment hatchback online.
