Surprise surprise, the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift has been spotted in the wild! Compared to its predecessor, the biggest change to the upcoming B-segment hatchback is a new face. On top of that, the immensely popular hatchback finally gets daylight running lights too.
These images of the facelifted Myvi were first shared by myvitesse on Instagram; the original post has been taken down since. Anyway, as shown in the spy shots below, the new Myvi gets a new front end (similar to the design of the Ativa and Aruz) with vertical DRLs – a feature many, many folks have been asking for.
As for the rear end of the Myvi facelift, not much has changed, except for a slight redesign of the rear bumper. The biggest change is underneath the hood: instead of the current four-speed automatic, the hatchback is rumoured to feature a CVT gearbox instead, similar to the one found in Perodua’s hot SUV, the Ativa.
No word yet on exactly when the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift will be introduced, though there are talks of a launch sometime this month. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye on any news pertaining to the new Myvi.
