Realme is set to launch a rather intriguing phone in Malaysia soon, the Realme GT Neo 2. Sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset with a 120Hz screen, it’s certainly a device with reasonably capable hardware.
After all, the Snapdragon 870 is essentially a faster version of the Snapdragon 865, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset last year. Basically, you can expect to get a good level of performance out of the GT Neo 2. Paired with the phone’s 120Hz 6.62-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED screen – along with a 600Hz touch sampling rate – you can game quite well with it.
Other specifications of the GT Neo 2 include 8GB or 12GB of RAM, two storage options (128GB or 256GB), a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, as well as a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
Unfortunately, Realme did not reveal exactly when the GT Neo 2 will be launched here in Malaysia. Given that the company has started teasing the phone, we reckon it will be made available locally soon enough, alongside the Realme Pad tablet.
