Not long after we first spotted the Apple Watch Series 7 in SIRIM’s database, the Cupertino company finally revealed the Malaysian pricing of its latest smartwatch. Retailing from RM1,749, the Series 7 has the same starting price as the Series 6.
Compared to its predecessor, the Apple Watch Series 7 has a larger screen with screen bezels measuring only 1.7mm thin. This allows the smartwatch to support a full-size keyboard now, and you can even use swipe typing for a more intuitive typing experience.
Aside from that, the updated Apple Watch is also said to be the most durable one yet. It features a stronger, more crack-resistant front crystal, along with an IP6X certification for dust resistance. Of course, the WR50 water resistance rating is retained too.
Charging speed of the Apple Watch Series 7 sees a nice upgrade as well. According to Apple, this smartwatch can now recharge up to 33% faster. As for battery life, the new Apple Watch can still provide the same all-day 18-hour battery life.
Even though the Malaysian pricing of the Apple Watch Series 7 has been revealed, it’s only set to be available later this year. In the meantime, you can take a look at the full lineup of the smartwatch over at Apple’s Malaysian online store.
