Infinix is launching its latest smartphone in Malaysia very soon. Not only is the Infinix Zero X Neo an affordable device, it also offers a periscope telephoto lens that can do up to 60x hybrid zoom.
Only one variant of the Zero X Neo will be offered in Malaysia. Set to be available for pre-order here on 10 October – just like the company’s range of laptops – this smartphone offers 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM for only RM899.
For that kind of money, you’re also getting a triple camera system headlined by an 8MP periscope lens that can do 5x optical zoom and 60x optical zoom; it has optical image stabilisation too. The other two sensors, on the other hand, are a 48MP primary shooter and a 2MP monochrome lens.
Other specifications of the Zero X Neo include a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, a 6.78-inch 2460 x 1080 LTPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 16MP selfie camera, a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, as well as Android 11 out of the box.
To recap, the Infinix Zero X Neo will be available for pre-order in Malaysia on 10 October from Shopee. Retailing at only RM899, you don’t often see a phone at this price point with a periscope telephoto camera.
