Infinix Enters Laptop Market in Malaysia With INBook X1 From Only RM1,899
October 6, 2021 Andrew Cheng

Infinix started selling its range of smartphones in Malaysia not too long ago, and now, it is ready to enter the local laptop market too with the Infinix INBook X1. Retailing from only RM1,899, this is definitely a budget-friendly laptop with a rather sleek-looking design.

Three different variants of the INBook X1 are offered in Malaysia. The base model with an Intel Core i3-1005G1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD is priced at only RM1,899. A tier up is the Core i5-1035G1 configuration, which also upgrades the SSD to 512GB for RM2,399.

Last but certainly not least is the range-topping model, which is dubbed INBook X1 Pro instead. Not only is it the fastest of the lot with a Core i7-1065G7 processor, it also gets more RAM at 16GB with a 512GB SSD. This particular configuration costs a cool RM2,999.

Aesthetically, the INBook X1 does have a rather modern-looking design with a relatively thin 16.3mm chassis. Tipping the scales at 1.48kg, it’s not an awfully heavy productivity-focused laptop either. It has a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display with 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut as well.

The Infinix INBook X1 will be available for pre-order in Malaysia on Shopee from 10 October onwards. Although this laptop doesn’t have the latest Intel processors, it makes up for this with its affordable pricing.
